The intentions of this Mass are for all those in our special intention basket and...

Please stand for our procession.

Universal Prayer

A. That Christians everywhere may take Jesus’ words to heart, responding to sin with mercy, hurt with charity, and hatred with love, let us pray to the Lord.

B. For world leaders, that they may turn to diplomacy and other nonviolent means to forge peace among rivals and enemies, let us pray to the Lord.

C. For parents, teachers, and catechists, that by word and example they may inspire those in their care to love one’s enemies and to turn the other cheek, let us pray to the Lord.

D. For those who suffer from the hurt that others have caused, that they may find the courage to accept the challenge to forgive and reconcile with those who have wronged them, let us pray to the Lord.
