Third Sunday of Lent

Notes for this Weekend

Welcome

Welcome to our Eucharistic Celebration on this Third Sunday of Lent.

The intentions of this Mass are for all those in our special intention basket and...

Please stand for our procession.

Universal Prayer

A. For the Church, that the woman at the well may be a model for us, leading us to testify to Jesus as the source of living water, let us pray to the Lord.

B. That leaders around the world may ensure that our precious resource of water is well cared for, and that fair and equitable ways be found to ensure that all people have sufficient clean water, let us pray to the Lord.

C. For those who suffer the lack of any basic necessity, that they may receive the resources they justly deserve as children of God, let us pray to the Lord.

D. For those who have hardened their hearts, that they may realize the love of God that has been poured out into all our hearts through the Holy Spirit, let us pray to the Lord.

Fr. Arturo & Fr. Roberto Mass

E. For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, let us pray to the Lord.

Announcements

1. Due to our First Reconciliations for the First Communion students, we will not have confessions during March.

2. According to the American Heart Association, approximately 90% of people who experience cardiac arrest die, but the chances of survival are doubled if they had received CPR. We will have a CPR course on Saturday, March 18, from 10am to 2:30pm in St. Joseph Hall.

3. Next week we will have a second collection for the Catholic Relief Services. These services support Catholic Church organizations that carry out international relief and solidarity efforts. Programs include relief and resettlement for victims of persecution, war, and natural disasters; development projects to improve living conditions for the poor; legal and support services for poor immigrants; peace and reconciliation work for people suffering from violence; and advocacy on behalf of the powerless.

4. We thank the Keller Williams offices, especially Blanca Rojas, for sponsoring our bulletin. Blanca Rojas is a real estate agent; you can find her information on the last page. If you are a business and would like to sponsor our weekly bulletin, you can call the phone number at the bottom of the last page.
