Universal Prayer

A. For the Church, that we may repent of our sins and bear good fruit, witnessing to the world that the kingdom is at hand, let us pray to the Lord.

B. That social and economic justice may flow down God’s holy mountain, filling in the valleys of hardship and poverty, let us pray to the Lord.

C. For those who are vulnerable to illness and disease, particularly those who are immunocompromised or have chronic health conditions, that they may be kept safe, let us pray to the Lord.

D. That our faith community may heed Saint Paul’s call to welcome one another, providing hospitality to friends and strangers, especially during this time of preparation for the Lord’s coming among us, let us pray to the Lord.

Fr. Arturo & Fr. Roberto Mass

E. For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, let us pray to the Lord.

Announcements

1. This Thursday, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. We will have additional Masses at 6:15pm in English and 7:15pm in Spanish.

2. We will have a second collection next week for our Archdiocese Priest Retirement fund. The Priest Retirement Fund offers a way for us to give back to our Catholic priests who have served us so faithfully. Your contribution will help archdiocesan priests live modestly and peacefully in retirement. Help us offer thanks for their years of devotion to God and our communities.

3. There will be an English lector meeting this Wednesday at 7pm in the Parish Center.
