Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Notes for this Weekend

Welcome

Welcome to our Eucharistic Celebration on this Thirty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Our readings today are truly frightening, for they look ahead to the end of the world and the second coming of our Lord. Everything that the human race has achieved will come crashing down. Natural disasters and violent conflicts will erupt. The faithful will be persecuted, but will be vindicated in the end. While evildoers will be punished in the last days, the faithful will not be harmed. May this give us confidence as we look forward to an uncertain future.

The intentions of this Mass are for all those in our special intention basket and...

Please stand for our procession.

Universal Prayer

A. For the Church, that we may be faithful to our mission to bring Christ to others as a sign of justice in times of persecution and hope in times of despair, let us pray to the Lord.

B. For all those who are incarcerated, both guilty and innocent, especially those on death row, that they may find mercy and peace during their time in prison, let us pray to the Lord.

C. That as winter approaches, those who are homeless or who are unable to afford warm clothes or shelter may be protected from the debilitating cold, let us pray to the Lord.

D. For those who are unable to join in the Eucharist in person, that they may realize their connection to all the faithful who come together to give thanks to God, let us pray to the Lord.

Fr. Arturo & Fr. Roberto Mass

E. For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, let us pray to the Lord.

Fr. Kamil’s Mass

E. For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, and for (read all intentions from 1st page), let us pray to the Lord.
