Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Notes for this Weekend

Welcome

Welcome to our Eucharistic Celebration on this Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time .

The intentions of this Mass are for all those in our special intention basket and...

Please stand for our procession.

Universal Prayer

A. For the Church, that we may seek justice for those persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for those victimized by injustice, and for those whose voices are ignored, let us pray to the Lord.

B. For those who are poor, materially or spiritually, and for those who are poor in spirit who work to help them, let us pray to the Lord.

C. For all who teach the Christian faith, especially teachers in Catholic schools, that their lessons may be absorbed and retained by eager students, let us pray to the Lord.

D. For those who mourn loved ones, that they may be consoled by their faith in a merciful God and by the manifestation of that consolation in our empathetic words and gestures, let us pray to the Lord.

Fr. Arturo & Fr. Roberto Mass

E. For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, let us pray to the Lord.

Fr. Kamil’s Mass

E. For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, and for (read all intentions from 1st page), let us pray to the Lord.

Announcements

1. The St. Vicent de Paul truck will be at the Parish on Sunday, February 12 from 8:30am to 1:30pm. We thank you for your donations.

2. Besides our regular Sunday collection, in the month of February we will be asked two more times to be generous! We will participate in the annual Together in Mission program and will begin the Called to Renew campaign. Many ask why we need to do Called to Renew if we already help our poorest parishes through Together in Mission. Simply put, Together in Mission helps parishes in their regular, day to day expenses. This money helps with such things as salaries and utilities- without which parishes cannot function. Called to Renew will pay for once in a lifetime, big ticket items such as a new roof on the Church or remodeling the hall kitchen.
